Established in 1997, Alotapilates has been a beacon of wellness in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, for over two decades. Founded by Jenny and fueled by the passion of our dynamic trio – Caryn, Tia, and Jenny – we're more than just a Pilates studio; we're a family. And we are all fully trained in the Classical Pilates lineage, created by Joseph and Clara Pilates, but bring our own unique backgrounds to our classes.

Jenny

“I teach humans to move through the Pilates method and Nervous System Integration. I strive to create Joy, Hope, Peace and Love.”

  • Meet Jenny, a compassionate Pilates instructor with over 25 years of experience dedicated to enhancing both movement and overall well-being. Her journey through Pilates and holistic health has been fueled by a deep passion for breath work, meditation, and neurobiomechanics, exploring how the body can release tension and embrace healthier adaptations.

    Jenny finds immense joy in guiding her clients towards their "lightbulb" moments, where mind and body align, inspiring progress along their Pilates journey. Her own Pilates journey began in 1997 under the guidance of esteemed mentors at The Pilates Center, marking the inception of a lifelong dedication to her craft.

    Beyond mastering the basics, Jenny continuously seeks to expand her knowledge, becoming a Nervous System Integration Facilitator and Chronic Pain Specialist. These additional qualifications reflect her profound empathy for those facing physical and emotional challenges, embodying her belief in holistic healing.

    Jenny's teaching philosophy revolves around treating the whole person, nurturing not just the body but also the mind and spirit. Through her guidance, she aims to cultivate not only strength but also joy and hope, witnessing transformations in both body and spirit.

    Recently, Jenny's horizons have expanded as she embarks on a journey called "Jenny on the Road," embracing virtual connections, developing online courses, and embracing new experiences. With an open heart and boundless enthusiasm, she's eager to share her wisdom with a wider audience, spreading positivity and inspiration wherever she goes.

Choreography, to Caryn, evolves into a seamless integration of the whole body, creating a profound sense of harmony within her students.

    The heartfelt expressions of gratitude from her clients, acknowledging how Pilates has positively transformed their lives and bodies, resonate deeply with Caryn. Yet, her joy extends beyond the studio. Watching her dog revel in the simplicity of nature and movement brings her immense delight, reminding her to savor the moments that truly matter.

    Success in a lesson leaves Caryn feeling fulfilled, purposeful, and skilled, reaffirming her commitment to her calling. Outside the studio, Caryn finds inspiration in weight training, relishing the strength it instills, further supporting her Pilates practice. Kelly
